Executive Committee

The International Governance Council (IGC) chooses an Executive Committee of at least three members to oversee all IGC responsibilities between IGC meetings. Their duties include, but are not limited to, reviewing financial statements, receiving monthly reports, making policy decisions between IGC meetings, settling disputes within NP, and preparing the agenda for IGC meetings.

The IGC Executive Committee is authorized to act for the IGC in a time-sensitive situation where lives or the integrity of the Nonviolent Peaceforce may be at stake, or if the IGC is for some reason unable to act.
