Austrian Study Center for Peace and Conflict Resolution

ASPR aims at contributing to the promotion of peace and peaceful conflict resolution and to the dissemination of practical ideas for peace, including its developmental and environmental aspects. In order to carry out these tasks, ASPR does the following:

Conducts and evaluates research
Engages in training and education and conducts scientific courses.
Publishes several periodicals (Dialog, Friedensforum, Friedensbericht) and organizes several major conferences each year, including a "Sommerakademie" and an annual international meeting of peace researchers on the "State of Peace."
