Nonviolent Peaceforce (NP) is an international NGO operating in the field of unarmed civilian protection. Our programmes in the Philippines, Myanmar, South Sudan, and the Middle East serve vulnerable and conflict-affected populations by working to reduce violence, protect human rights defenders, create safe spaces for dialogue, and facilitate conflict-sensitive returns of displaced persons. Internationally, NP raises awareness at the EU and UN level on the productive role and impact nonviolent international presence can make in areas of conflict and builds rosters of potential protection officers through trainings.
