Center For Nonviolent Communication

The Center for Nonviolent Communication (CNVC) is a global organization whose vision is a world where everyone's needs are met peacefully. CNVC contributes to this vision by facilitating the creation of life-serving systems. We do this by living and teaching the process of NVC (Nonviolent Communication), which strengthens the ability of people to compassionately connect with themselves and one another, share resources, and resolve conflicts.
On five continents, Nonviolent Communication training helps:

  • School systems-torn apart by drugs, race or religious differences
  • Health Care-with doctors, patients and hospital administrators
  • Prisons-with workers and inmates
  • Workplaces-from the boardroom to the shop floor
  • Law enforcement and militaries-with police officers and soldiers
  • Drug treatment and other social service agencies
  • Troubled couples, families and communities
