Office site: Duluth, Minnesota
Hour: 10-20 including Friday intern meetings
Terms Available: Summer 2008, Fall 2008, Spring 2009 (apply for a minimum of one term)
Job Summary: Assist Nonviolent Peaceforce International Governance Council (IGC) to do its work well by providing adequate support for the volunteer governance. Particular support for Co-Chair Donna Howard in Duluth.
Responsibilities (for prospect research):
• Take minutes of meetings
• Collect policies and procedures from past years of IGC work
• Compile papers from information on record
• Seek and make appointments for Donna's speaking and fundraising
• Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
• Ability to take good minutes according to our minute policy
• Very good writing skills
• Confidentiality and discretion required
• Attention to detail
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions well, and to work autonomously
• Commitment to the mission of Nonviolent Peaceforce
• Commitment to work cooperatively and grow personally
