Insight Trips are visits to field sites where Nonviolent Peaceforce is active around the world. These trips are educational opportunities for our supporters to feel the power of Nonviolent Peaceforce firsthand.

• Orientation to Nonviolent Peaceforce, our local partners and the regional project
• Personal visits and interviews with local leaders
• Meetings with local Nonviolent Peaceforce Member Organisations
• Historical and cultural visits
• Local tours
• Nonviolence training
• Getting to know members of Nonviolent Peaceforce's international leadership and peacekeeping teams

Insight Trips are designed to educate and involve Nonviolent Peaceforce Advocate Team Members and other NP supporters in a deeper understanding of our work. Many Insight Trip travelers become more involved in community outreach and education after their return home.

Trip interviews, trainings and education materials help supporters to promote the bravery and successes of unarmed peacekeeping and the effectiveness of strategic nonviolent action.

Insight Trips also serve a fundraising benefit for Nonviolent Peaceforce. Trip registration fees cover a traveler's in-country expenses, shared costs toward staff expenses (such as airfare to accompany the trip), and a donation to Nonviolent Peaceforce. Trip registration fees are designed to be up to 100% tax deductible, please consult your tax advisor.
