Campaign Fundraising

Reports to: Every Donor Fundraising Team Members, lead contact: Natalie Brenner.
Office site: Nonviolent Peaceforce Office, Minneapolis
Hour: 10 hours per week, plus Friday intern meetings
Terms Available: Summer 2008

Job Summary: Assist Every Donor Fundraising Team in its fundraising campaigns in 2008. Potential for work on a benefit concert, or possibly our Holiday Peace Bond Campaign.

Responsibilities:
Benefit Concert featuring Peter Yarrow
(Campaign and Event Planning Focus)
• With the Every Donor Team, take part in designing the event details for the November 2008 concert
• Develop campaign materials
• Work on event logistics including scheduling, confirming vendors, helping solicit sponsors, etc…
• Work on the event committee and actively participate in meetings
• Work with Every Donor Team on designing campaign materials and text for NP website, and keep updated.

Required Qualifications:

• Experience and ability with excel software
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work autonomously, very self motivated and proactive
• Able to follow written and verbal directions well
• Commitment to the mission of Nonviolent Peaceforce
• Ability to focus while in close proximity to others
• A sense of personal responsibility

Helpful Qualities:
• Patience, persistence, commitment and a sense of humor.
• Able to learn from successes and mistakes.
