Peace Information Center

Originally designed to be an information wing for NGOs working in Thai society on issues relating to peace and nonviolence, the Peace Information Center soon realized that the expanded concept of peace - which includes all kinds of work towards the eradication of direct, structural and cultural violence - covers an extremely broad spectrum of activities. Recently it has redefined its focus to work mainly in the fields of conflict resolution, with a strong emphasis on nonviolent actions.
Three main areas of the Peace Information Center's work help characterize its overall approach:

• Providing peace & nonviolence information in general
• Providing peace & nonviolence information during crisis situations
• Working with state agencies on peace & nonviolence
